Bistro Republika was originally part of the hotel of the same name,
In 2023, the hotel concept changed, so the restaurant space was separated and Kateřina, the original director of the entire complex, took over the Bistro. She lightened the restaurant's interior, but at the same time retained the uniqueness of the design.
In January 2025, a new chef, Michal Jandík, joined the bistro, who brought the absolute top of gastronomy to the bistro. Every week he creates a new MENU, which usually appeals to lovers of classic, Mediterranean and Asian cuisine. He and his team regularly prepare homemade desserts and cakes. We can't forget the great breakfasts either.

We also try to think about the various dietary restrictions of our guests, we are able to prepare many of our dishes in a way that they can be enjoyed by those with, for example, a gluten-free diet.

Our Bistro is located in the very center of Prague, just a few steps from important historical monuments and tourist attractions. Thanks to its ideal location, it is the perfect place for a short break before, during or after your trip around Prague. Despite its location, it maintains a calm and intimate atmosphere. On warm days, you can use the garden.
